I have been looking for something like this for a while but when I saw the price on the unit of $1229.00 I about fell over. The plan was to possibly use a mic like this at CES but man for that price I could upgrade to the next model in the Marantz line.

 How can this company justify this price tag on this unit? If they would have brought the pricing in line with most of the digital recorders out there aka around $600.00 then that would have been a little easier to swallow. There has to be some alternative products out their anyone have any suggestions. [HHB Flash Mic]
