PayPerPost get spanked by womma

The Word of Mouth Marketing Association has published a very strong article that points out some of the business ethic issues that surrounds PayPerPost.com and their front organisation DisclosurePolicy.org

I stand with a lot of other people in demanding that PayPerPost.com require bloggers to disclose within the article that the post that they are written that the review is a paid review.

Note: The policy for this blog is full disclosure on all reviews that any type of compensation has been provided.

I personally will never link to any site that I determine is a PayPerPost blogger until they change their policies. I just wish that PayPerPost would be a good net citizen. Thanks to Jason for the heads up and of course the damming article over at womma

Lemme ask you Todd,

Ive written a few Pay per view post on my blog. Ive written 6 paid blog post total out of probably 100 or so regular post over the last 3-4 months. Would you consider that to be a pay per post blog?

I am with you, I believe that there should be full disclosure that a sponsored blog post is a sponsored blog post within the actual blog post. And Ive always let it be known in the blog post that the post is sponsored.
