The hunt for a Ultra Mobile Personal Computer

One thing I have found is that when I take MyLifeOnline.TV on the road having to carry a full sized Laptop is not cutting it. In the next month I want to pick up an Ultra Mobile Personal Computer

The UMPC device that I want to get will have to run Windows XP or Vista, 3 USB ports, long battery life, and a full qwerty keyboard. The reason the unit needs 3 USB ports is one for the camera, and two for the Sprint U720 card that requires two USB ports due to power requirements.

The UMPC will spend a lot of time in a back pack so it is going to have to be pretty decent at handling the heat of being in a back pack. I have thought of just getting the cheapest laptop I could find, but I really want the small form factor of the UMPC.

Would love to hear some suggestions. Heck I am even looking for a sponsor that would be willing to cover some cost. My plan is to go live 24/7 starting around October 1st.

Todd,

Sounds like you're looking for something that may become available out early next year, at least based on info from former co-workers and this article about Intel's Ultra Mobile Platform indicated?
