How much Live TV are you really watching?

I know over the past 2 months I've watched very little TV and whenever I have, I sit down to let my mind go numb, I usually pull up the DVR list and pick a show I have pre-recorded.

The only commercial I remember watching on TV in the past month or two was a car commercial for a 2008 Cadillac CTS. I am not a big car buff, but that car made me sit up in my seat.

Well, survey data is showing that many of us are watching pre-recorded information more than 50% of the time. My kids have even figured it out as they are on a time limit. Thus they have their favorite shows pre-recorded and fast-forward through the commercials to get more viewing in over their alloted time.

But it should come as no surprise to anyone that TV viewing is done. More stats and info after the jump. NewTeeVee
