Raising smart kids

With my oldest starting at Kinder this year I have been very interested in information about how to provide the best learning environment for my kids without going over the top. I want my kids to learn, grow and excel in whatever they do, but also to enjoy their childhood and have a lot of fun.

For those of you with like minded thoughts, Scientific American releases an article last year summarising some of the findings from the most recent research on motivation and framing which is some interesting reading. A wiki site has also been created which is starting to collate some related articles and information together as well.
